Sony RX1 - the winner is Fuji X-E1

The lack of a EVF on the Sony RX1 does makes the Fuji X-E1 look a lot better in comparison. And the Fuji gives you the option to change lenses. The XF 23mm f/1.4 lens will about compensate the DOF for full frame Sony at its fastest f2 aperture (although circle of confusion is in favor of Sony).

So, for the same price the X-E1 gives you extra focal length options ($1800 will get you up to 3 XF lenses or you can buy the X-Pro 1 and 2 lenses), an EVF and Fuji Colors.

I don't expect the Sony to be revolutionary better than the X-Pro 1 / X-E1 sensor in low light. And the DOF full frame advantage is limited by a fixed 35mm f/2...

So I don't see the RX1 to be a huge success but any kind of innovation is welcome

I used to be 100% full frame supporter, but the X100 and X-Pro 1 have changed my mind. APS-C sensors are very capable now and besides DOF I see very little reason to take my 5D MK II out (except for strobist and some sports).
