I have a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.6.8. I removed the original MAC CD drive, replaced with a second hard drive 240GB Mercury Electra SSD from OWC and I use it as start up disk; the original Mac HD drive contains all my files, software and OS X original which installed at time of purchase of the MacBook Pro..
I just downloaded OS X Mountain Lion but I am not able to install it because it does not allow me to select the SSD drive, only the original Mac HD drive, a window says "This disk is used for Time Machine backups".
Can anybody assist?
Thank you and regards.
