What Camera do you carry in your pocket?

None. Still looking for one, cannot decide if zoom or quality. It´s funny That I had 3.2MPx Powershot A510, to which Sony HX20V(I´m looking on this one) is waaay superior in every term, and I remember I did great shots, but I still need something more convincing...

Thats why I asked the question as I'm up for a new pocket phone at the moment the Iphone seems popular...Alas im not out of phone contract yet.. but never liked apple out of principle - closed system as opposed to open system - android / PC's.

Was looking at the S95 - crops were poor compared to the S100 but there was something about lens errors with the S100?

Depends on your needs. Good phone camera is a MUST if you do not carry any "alone"camera. But once you are going to carry some camera with your phone, there is only autofocus need on the phone, and more other phone features are more important than its camera, because you already have the right tool to shoot with.

I compared those small cams for more than one month, and I see no technical reason for S100. It has so many flaws and glitches, that it´s not acceptable for camera being used in 2013 :-) HX20V or Pany LX7 TZ25/30, maybe Oly XZ-2 IS :-)

Canon S90. Although the Sony RX100 is calling to me.

The same for me...the S90 has served me well, but also let me down in a couple of difficult high ISO situations. Looks like the RX100 will be the replacement, but I will see what Canon comes up with next.

I have a s95 that I used to carry around all the time because I don't want to miss any photo op, but ever since I started using my iPhone4's camera more seriously I realized how sufficient the iPhone4 camera already is, the last time I used my s95 was for a video 2 or 3 months ago...

The only camera I have on me all the time is the one on my phone, the HTC Rezound. I am pretty pleased with the results.

When I want to carry a camera that fits in my pocket I will bring my Canon SX230 HS. I have a business trip next month to Germany and I will probably just bring this camera with me. Easy to carry, takes nice pictures and has manual control.

For photo shoots and vacations I will generally bring my Canon 7D and the lenses needed for the type of shots I am taking.

The new Sony RX100
The best all-round pocket camera
money can buy.
Brings a big smle to my face, every
time I download pictures.

Ditto here. Very likeable unit.

Canon S100 or Fuji F550 EXR, depending on zoom requirements I might expect. Cell phones don't have enough zoom for my requirements. Actually, neither does the S100, but certainly better than no zoom.

Used lx3, I picked up for $125. Of course, i would prefer an RX100 if not for the price.
