The 6 in the 645 refers to the size of the film including the film edge, the Pentax 645 frame is actually around 55x40mm, the Sensor in the Phase One, IQ series backs, ie the FF 645 sensor that I was talking about is about 53x40mm. Phase one have two full 645 frame sensors they are 60 and 80 mp respectively and are incredible to behold the images from them (I would be happy with the 60mp version in a 645DII)
