If all they did was use different exposures, their tests would still have some value, in that you could look at the results and guess/interpolate how A and B would compare if A hadn't been given a 2/3-stop (or whatever known value) exposure advantage over B.

But if the lighting changes by an unknown amount, the comparisons really are useless, even if you take into account the known differences in shutter speed and aperture.

As with so many online comparisons, I'm left wondering what was going on in the tester's head.

Still, I remain doubtful that they changed the lighting between these particular two cameras, and especially that they changed the lighting at different ISOs for the Canon (because why would they do that?).
