7-14, 9-18 or 12-35 for my next trip?

I don't think there's any justification for this claim. I've used Oly lenses with Panny bodies, and vice versa, since m43 has come out, with great results. Some may bring up the CA correction that happens only with Panny bodies, but this is so easily corrected in post-processing nowadays that it's not an issue.

By all means if the OP prefers (and can afford!) the 7-14mm he should get it.
