Here are some tips I've found helpful:

  • Use portrait orientation for a taller image

  • There are Wide and Standard options...just depends on the composition which to use

  • Hold your arms out straight and rotate your body at a constant rate. Not too fast and not too slow. This takes some practice but you'll find it.

  • If the horizon will be visible in the shot, sweep parallel (as best as possible) to it to minimize imprecise joins along the horizon.
