Thanks for the replays, v12nut and viking79.
For me, a lens is not about sharpness but about signature. For what I've seen -and this is a very personal appreciation-, the Samsung 30mm is like most of the mirrorless lenses: good in most of the situations but in the end the images don't appeal to me. I have the same feeling with my Panny 20mm: the rendering is technically correct but the final images have no soul.
I know the lens is made for covering 35mm sensors, but I cannot afford a FF camera and a premium 50mm for the moment. I've already thought about the Nokton 35mm f/1.4 for APS-C cameras. It has personality, but I don't like it at all. A pity, because I really like the size.
Even if 90% of the time I would be using it with the Samyang, I would like to have the option of going light for casual snaps. That's why I was looking at the NX system. With one of the wide pancakes (16mm or 20mm) I won't need to buy a premium compact in the spirit of Ricoh GRD or Canon S series as I should have to do if getting a Sony SLT... My fear is, as viking79 says, that the combination NX + Samyang won't feel balanced on my hands. That's why I was asking for a photo of the combo, even if adapted from other mount.
I can't recommend the Samyang 35mm for mirrorless compacts. it's a great lens for FX and medium size bodies and gives great results. but it's ability is limited on APS-C and the size doesn't make any sense at all. your best option would be either to look for a cheap Canon FD 35mm or just wait for a fast compact or decent sized 35mm NX lens. as everyone stated, the Samyang is a big lens (a heavy one as well), so there is a big chance that you won't like it as much in terms of handling and size practicality.
