Strange Question Re D3200

As far as weight....

The D3200 is definitely light. I bought one and the 55-300mm for an ultra light birding kit for hiking. I was very disapointed with the 55-300. The AF is useless for anything except static subjects. I ended up picking up a 70-300 and it was a big improvement for AF. Then I tried the 70-300 on my d7000, and AF was even better, especially for tracking moving objects. So I gave the d3200 w/18-55 and 55-300 to my wife. She was shooting a Canon Elph, and loves the reach and absence of shutter lag, so now everyone is happy.
