If the score is "not what they thought it would be" it shows two things: the magic formula is way off base, and that thinking, as in invented fantasy, is dangerous.

While I agree that the overall score has very little meaning, you can't deny the fact that it is based on a weighted combination of DxO's measurements that they refulse to reveal (the same can be said for the essentially meaningless overall scores that DPR gives cameras and that so many people take seriously). Thus, if DxO is having a problem coming up with the E-M5's overall score it has to mean that one or more of their measures was much different from what they expected.
