When I bought the lens I had some problems that people here pointed out, the pictures looked soft and also I used to miss focus.

The 85 was my first prime and I didn't realize how slow the lens focus system is if compared with my zooms.

I was not even pausing a split second to take the shot, in my mind a good shutter speed should be enough to freeze motion and I didn't take into account the slower focus of the lens. I was so wrong.

That's why the 85 mm is not a lens for sports. lol

Nowadays I can see the improvement in terms of focus precision as I am improving (I think) my shooting technique with this lens.
