I was under impression that at the same FL, same distance and the same f/stop FX has a smaller DOF. Is that correct?
Best regards

Sensor size does not change the DOF, it changes the focal length to get both at the same frame. Because of this the, DX sensor will require a wider focal length to match FX thus producing a deeper DOF.

The focal length remains the same. A 50mm is 50mm on both FX and DX. You just crop off the sides with a DX sensor.
