CP4500 has a RAW mode!

I don't think it is possible to tell if the DIAG RAW mode was enabled if you have to send your camera to Nikon for service, just disable the mode, and send it...

Now, my question is, if such a mode is available in the cameras, why don't they make a firmware upgrade with a raw mode?
