Dear friend

You are doing yourself a disservice. I'm an average size guy with average sized hands and a 30-year wire-service pro (AP & Reuters etc). I've handled a lot of gear, big and small. For the past few years I've toyed with the Lumix LX3, the GF-1 and others. I love the Nikon D4 of course but I call it the Big Pig for obvious reasons. All those DSLRs are too darn big. It's true the RX-100 is tiny but it's not THAT much of a challenge to hold and really, it's minor faults (there are other more valid ones, such as the horrible menu and all those damn buttons) but the files are sooooooo sweet, so fine, you can crop quite a bit and still end up with fine images. In the end, isn't it just about the images?

I think you should play for a few days, THEN decide.
My two bits
