How about the 17 TS-E or 24 TS-E ii. Very sharp, little to no distortion and vignetting and you can stitch several together easily. I love my 24 TS-E ii for landscape and it doubles as a near macro lens good for the many beautiful wild flowers in Montana. Another option is to rent some of these specialty lenses and see if the work out for you.
