Stany, I get the occasional moire with the E as well, if light is bright and aperture isn't very wide. I.e., typical for sun shine and in the studio. No prob for me but it is there.

But Macro should not produce moire if using an E properly.

Reason is that F/14 almost exactly emulates a full strength Bayer-AA filter (for the 800) and that aperture is rather suitable for macro. Just stop down to F/14 or beyond.
