Sony RX100 Studio Shots = Amateurish
I see now the response from R. Butler as well (right after he banned my account). I'm a little shocked that the field curvature was that significant, as I have not noticed it in any real-world shooting. I guess the RX100 is just a poor "studio camera" for 50mm and the range required for the shot. I wonder if an alternate FL would be any better. I'd personally rather see distortion at the edges than general dullness across the entire image as a result of diffraction. But that's just my opinion.
