Dreaded zombie back focus eradicated
I have purchased a set of 4 minolta original lenses. Beercan (small & big), 28mm 2,8 and 50mm 1.7.
I hade given up on trying to find a minolta 50mm 1.7 that focused well & this was to be sold but I checked the focus and all the shots came up with good focus so its a keeper :).
My questions to the think tank of this forum-
1) Is the spot on focus due to the calibration of this lens and will it work perfectly on my next camera when I upgrade or
2) Is it some alignment of manufacturing tolerences and the sony / minolta tolerences differ greatly their for 1 in 5 minolta lenses backfocus but 1 in 10 sony lenses backfocus.
3) Or maybe as this new lens has had very little use has it got to do with wear and tear on the internal parts and maybe back to question 1.
Please I am genuanly interested in the old minolta lenses so if your comments are going to be sarcastic think them do not post them.
