One more point, #1 is different from the others. In the others, the fence is clearly the subject, but it's not a very dynamic subject. It simply leads your eye toward the vanishing point to... nothing.

In #1 you tend to look beyond the fence, which I find a bit more engaging, but again, there is no real subject. If there was a horse or something in the field, then you'd have a composition.

Lighting, DR more interesting in the others, but that's another question.
