How to calculate magnification? (close up filter + retro)

Hi there!

Can someone please provide me the way to calculate magnification with different lenses and techniques?

I have a 70-210 with magn. ratio 1:4 and a 100mm 1:1. Now, what magnification do I get when

1) using a 10 diopter close up filter (or a 4 or a 2)?
2) using it in retro?

Would like to be able to calculate it for different lenses afterwards

And is there a way to calculate the minimum focussing distance? I guess for the macro lens it's something like 35 cm, what would it be in retro or with a filter?

many thanks!
