650D: Tried Handheld Night Scene Mode yet?

Have you tried the "Handheld Night Scene" mode yet? The camera takes 4 quick images and combines them in-camera to maximize Sharpness and minimize Noise.

Was at a local restaurant the other evening for a Camera Club Board Meeting (terrible mixed lighting in there). On a whim I turned the dial to Handheld Night Scene mode, and gave it a whirl (had my 18-55 IS II kit lens on). The results were pretty surprising (actually turned out better than the straight ISO 3200 pics I was taking). No noise reduction done in Post.

EXIF indicates 1/20 sec @ f5.6, ISO 4000 @ 51mm.

If you have a static subject, give this mode a try. I bet it works great on Cityscapes too.
