Well I was asking myself to what amount this could be possible since at least the focus metering points (PDAF) are physically distributed over the frame and fixed there. And the exposure measuring arrays too. Or the feature is using only spot metering. Anyhow, as said, both exposure seem spot on as well as focussing and this is impressive. It needs to be discovered though to what amount the (excellent) lens contributes to the result and to what amount processing which generates perceived sharpness (pleasing to the eye) due to cleverly selected parametres for noise reduction and sharpening.

From what I know from processing high(er) ISO shots taken with an A850 is that the "look" improves a lot when the converter processing reduces the original 24MP RAW file to a 12MP or 6MP JPG output.
