No need to update EX1 to EX2F

Try to gather interesting prospects of the new EX2F:

1. Sensor in terms of noise - only a little improvement; it is a bit disappointing for the lapse of more than two years since the last one and the use of back lit cmos sensor. It's still behind S100 and is never comparable with 1" sensor type compacts.

2. Sensor in terms of processing speed - better, but the bottleneck is somewhere else. Even the big brother NX210 is slow in storing raw files.
3. Raw file quality - no available info, can only hope for the best.

4. Lens - brighter but is not improving on resolution; CA/distortion etc. still unknown.
5. Price - impossibly high at this moment.

6. Wifi transfer to handset is a good concept for slap shots. But raw shooters who take a few gigabytes of photos each trip couldn't care less.
7. ND filter and higher shutter speed - most welcomed.

Existing user of the excellent EX1 may not find many reasons to update to EX2F. Rather, for better image quality, replacing it with RX100 should be a reasonable choice. For me, would keep using EX1 for focal length from 18mm (user converter lens) and may buy the new CP7700 to cover focal length up to 200mm.
Sorry, Samsung!
