I live in Australia, which seems to be the end of the world. I tend to photograph birds, animals and a little scenery. The 800E is in very short supply, the 800 not so bad. Should I wait (and wait and wait) for an E or grab the ordinary 800? What do people think and why?

If you are doing all bird shootings, animals and landscape and need to print to 600mm by 900mm poster size and hanging on the wall, you need:

1. good glass to go with (prime, 600mm F4, 20-700 VRII, 14-24, and some Zeiss 21mm,28mm)
2. flawless techniques, skills
3. definite the EEEEEEEEEEEEE.

If you are not going to enlarge it, then get non E will also be fine.

Reverse thinking: if it's for screen viewing, just get the normal 12mp camera, can do the job well, no need 36mp.
