I find my t4i focuses better/faster than my t3i and previous rebels. So if image quality is number one, it is for me, an out of focus shot no matter how good the sensor is, is still an image with poor quality.

Also, while 5-6 raw images is not exactly like my 7d, it is still much better than the 3 or so for my t3i. The touch screen is very handy and makes some changes faster for me anyway which will allow me to have a higher keeper rate.

Then there is live view. Taking images of flowers or other static objects on a tripod to me is superior than using the normal mode of focusing.

Yes, live view on the t4i is slow compared to some 4/3ths, but it is plenty fast enough for stills and afterall that is what the camera is designed to do.

If my camera was stolen tomorrow I would buy it again and again and again.
