I can easily think of a way to adjust for both sides of the mirror without needing the upper part to pivot or something. Yes I know that to be done correctly the mirrors must have the right angles and pivoting points. Another writer think the mirrors are stiff enough. Maybe, - I don't know, but they are only adjusted on one side, the left which makes the right side of the image. The right side (image side) is more often correct than the left where the mirror has no support. It points at something skewed somewhere.
