I would agree if you mean High ISO Noise Reduction.

Lone Exposure Noise Reduction takes a dark frame and subtracts it from the image. This removes hot pixels and amp glow. It is difficult or time-consuming to try to replicate that in post unless you have take a dark frame at the same exposure length under the same conditions (ambient temp).
