Auto ISO in M mode - how to over/under expose?

I mainly shoot my daughter running and really would love this feature since she runs in and out of the shade a lot. I read about just putting the camera in tv mode auto iso and select my tv speed then compensate that way. Since the focus points are mainly on her dof is not that impt to me. Works perfect. Thanks for the tip. I will say it would be nice to have this feature canon in manual mode.
