Superzoom Birds - Moulting time again

Hi all, we're back with another batch of backyard bird photos to share.

This time of year a lot of the birds are in the midst of moulting from their spring and summer plumage, and many of them are rather ragged to say the least as they shed their well-worn feathers. We photograph them every day anyway. Even though some of them are not so photogenic now, we know they'll soon be posing in their brand new winter coats.
