I use the 5d Mark II and 24-105 and love them both. The 5dII in general has pretty poor autofocus unless you're using the center point. This obviously makes sports/wildlife/anything fast moving pretty difficult.

For wedding/landscape/anything else, it's perfect. Really can't complain. For most uses, enabling all the focus points works just fine as long as you aren't using razor thin DOF or shooting anything moving quickly.

Also, if you just want the 5dII and don't want the 24-105 for whatever reason, call Canon and ask if they still offer the 5dII refurb in the Canon Loyalty program. Last I checked, it was only $1500.
