Upgrade to 650d from 450d (xSi)

Hi all,

Everyone was so helpful when I got my first DSLR so here I am again ready to upgrade. I currently have the 450 (xsi) that I purchased in 2008. I also have the 430 flash (never use), the tamron AF 18-270m f3.5-6.3, and the 50 1.8. I stopped using the kit lens as soon as I got the 50.

I mainly take pictures of my daughter and family events. In your opinion, is it a good time to upgrade to the 650d? I was thinking about upgrading a while back the first time HD video was introduced. I was advised to hold off on updgrading.

From the little reading that I've done, it seems like some of the features of the 650d will eliminate some of the post processing I do in Adobe Camera Raw. I like the backlight control mode and I also like the idea of shooting video and being able to take pictures at the same time. There seems to be a lot of new features compared to my 450d.

Can anyone tell me what the photobook feature is like? As of now, I don't have any of my pictures organized outside of my computer. I have 4 years of my daughers life that needs to be "booked". I'm terrible when it comes to postprocessing and producing final products, mainly due to time contraints and being indecisive.

Also, is the 18-135mm EF-S IS STM worth getting if I already have the Tamron AF 18-270, f3.5-6.3? Any recommendations for a really good indoor lens? I do love my 50, but wouldn't mind something even sharper.

Thank you!
Purvi
