An experiment. (2 imgs)

We took a drive to see if the golden light came out today. Not to be this time.

I wanted to see what an image taken at f22 with the Pentax DA15mm f4 Limited would look like so I snapped this one.

If anyone wants to take a look at a larger image then click the link.

Image #1 - This is the shot I took using the K-5 + DA15/4 LTD at f22, 0.4s, ISO80. I just set the lens to infinity and took the shot. The trees are just a couple of feet from the lens.

Image #2 - I cropped this 10x8 inch out of it so I could print it to see how it looks. It seems to look OK in print. I do believe that if the golden light was on the image and better clouds were in the sky then it might have become a spectacular print out. This little experiment has shown me to not be afraid of shooting at f22 anymore.

Carl - 'What do you mean? It will only take 1/1000s.'

'Keep your eyes looking forward. However, glance back now and then to see where you've come from. It will put a smile on your face.' ~ brandrx
