The V1 is an interchangeable lens camera, different ballgame. I can't imagine putting the RX on a tripod and trying BIF or wildlife but I also rarely grabbed the V1 and shoved it into my pants pocket when i went out, either.

My point is that everyone clearly needs both cameras for their different strengths and weaknesses. You know you do!

I agree. Completely different cameras for different needs.
