Exactly. I just returned from a ten day trip with the V1 and I was really happy for my decision of not bringing the D300s with me on this trip at all. The V1 + 10-30 + 30-110 did exactly what I expected from it, it was a great joy using it and could cope with rain and every other kind of weather I used in so far. It is an excellent system but if one doesn't find it suitable there are plenty other cameras to buy, no need for trolling BS on this forum.
