A65 video settings
Vista doesn't natively support mts files, but they added it in Win 7. So you could upgrade. Or, you could also look into installing a codec pack. Back when I had Vista I used K-Lite codec pack (google it) which lets you play mts files in Windows Media Player. It may get a bit jittery though if you don't have reasonably good hardware (either a recent processor with good HD playback built it or a dedicated video card).

Thanks for the interlacing tip. Windows Media player is unable to reproduce MTS files. I'm using Vista 64 bit and should have all latest updates.
