Yes I've found the "sweet spot" on my lens is actually around f11 for sharpness, and that works if I focus in the foreground or use infinity focus.

I have tried autobracketing but as I mentioned above it's hard to get it sharp as I don't have a remote trigger. When you autobracket how far apart in stops are your exposures? I have a wide range of option on the camera from half a stop to 3 stops or more.

Another golden hour photography question. On overcast days or crap weather days does the light quality still apply in the golden hours - or is there no point in getting up early/going out late when the weather isn't going to be sunny?
