Re: Solution to D800 AF ISSUES

I have a local professional camera shop which I have been dealing with for many years - no problem. Only they don't have a D800 instock. Apart from that, Saturn, Media Markt and online shops like Amazon, Cyberport etc etc will allow you to return also big ticket items provided you have it packed in the original cartons and that the item is returned in original undamaged condition.

Where do you buy in Germany professional camera equipment? Most local shops don't take things back no questions asked. Only if you buy online you can return within 2 weeks.

Wow I am beginning to think I am very fortunate to be in Germany. Whether online or local store, there is a guaranteed free of charge (practically no questions asked) return policy.

Lazy salesmen at local stores (fortunately most are helpful) will tell you to take it home, try it out and if you don't like it, just return it !

On the downside, we do pay a bit more for our mechandise.
