Olympics & OM-D Part 2

My second time in the Olympic stadium, same combination OM-D 75-300 (inside) & 12-35 (outside the stadium). The 75-300 is not really a match for the ZD50-200 for FT but for a light carry tele it is well worth the investment. The 12-35 is a stellar lens!

Different position to our seats on the 3rd ( http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1041&message=42193361 ) For the following (6th) we were sitting 22 rows above the long jump run-up a good view for that event which wasn’t happening but the track was about 40 metres from us – the 100 metre track was on the other side of the stadium so the women’s hurdlers’ images are severely cropped and some LR4 work to dull the spectators (not sure it worked though – I really should have used a wider aperture) Comments welcome...

this was the third hurdle and Sally Pearson was ahead by metre or more..

... by 50 metres....... and number 1 had decided not to jump

for something different...

the advantage of 9fps

...when the sun went in it was time to try slower exposures but my panning - is pants! (men’s 800m) 1/15sec

Women’s 1500

Weight lifting.........!

Sorry there’s so many - not really
