D800 battery life is shocking, is this faulty or something please help?

...you have a battery problem. I have about 13K divided evenly among two batteries, and neither is indicating state 1. As for battery life, between 700 and 800 shots per full charge is typical (i.e., some on-camera winnowing; a tiny bit of Live View/Video; very modest chimping–I have image review disabled). When I'm on the job, shooting far more than I chimp, battery life is fantastic - essentially the same as my D700 was: about 2000 shot per charge. Best performance so far: 32% charge remaining and 1864 shots taken during a 4 hour shoot on July 26, 2012. Not too shabby.
