Re: Some forum observations

Hi Ed. Welcome back.

You are correct that things have deteriorated quite a bit from years ago. The thing is there is still some good here. You just have to learn to pass on the garbage and flaming and just read, enjoy and help on the ones that are worth putting the time in. There are people here that truly want to learn and improve and people with the knowledge to be able to help. I have been here for more than 10 years and although it has changed considerably and mostly not for the better, there is still some good people and some amazing photos to see. An important thing is that there is a little ignore box that you need to learn and use. You just pick the ones you have no interest in reading and can ignore any future ramblings.

It is nice to have one of the oldies and talented photographers back. Try to pass off the bad stuff and stay and help those that need it while maybe still learning something new. After all, as photographers we are always learning are we not?
