Other than "a walk around" setting, why bother with a DSLR if you never
swap out the lens? Just buy a good bridge 36X style camera.
I've got three lenses that I carry for now. 16-50, 70-300 & 18-270.
I'm probably going to lose the 18-270 since the other two fill the
gap. It was the only lens I could afford when I got the camera, but
now with the other two lenses, I don't use it as much.
