24-120 VRII at the telephoto end

Heres mine at 120mm f4 through f11

I used a test chart since we are judging just sharpnest or at least that what most are talking about here. Tripod with mirror lockup remote shutter release +1 compensation since chart is mostly white. D800 camera jpg straight from camera. Full size so large files. iso 400. exif data intact. I would use both f8 and f11 if shooting landscape. Corners get sharper and I just dont see this diffraction everyone is talking about. At least not enough to really matter.

Oh these were all at 120mm with 24-120F4VR lens which is this lens weakest focul length. Its better at shorter focul lengths so keep that in mind before you judge this lens useless for landscape. Sure I would use a 70-200 once i hit 70mm.
