wildflower Tamron 90 2.8

I took a series of shots of this flower, some came out much clearer and sharper but this particular one seems to have drawn me. I don't know if it is because of the slightly angled position and then how the focus softens off on the yellow petals or what

from a recent camping trip in Eastern Washington, when we go there I always have to visit the Turnbull Wildlife Refuge. it is such a beautiful quiet place. It wasn't a good time of year for me to try to get wildlife shots as it was so hot even in the early morning hours.
