VC works - turn off VC at shutter speeds above 1/60s

The VC does work and it works very well BUT at shutter speeds faster than 1/60s you must turn off VC.

You don't need it, and there is some iteraction that degrades IQ. Just switch it off at shutter speeds above 1/60s.

I've just received mine in South Korea, and I see the same problems you've posted. I am especially angry about the VC not working since it was the feature that I weighted the most in deciding to buy this lens. Will contact the dealer and see if I could get an exchange. Here's a link to my post on a Korean slr website. The top picture is the one with VC on, while the bottom one is with it off. Both are taken with D800 handheld at 1/80.
