Hanoi - D800

First of all, I would like to apologize to the forum members who so kindly gave me awesome tips about locations to shoot in Burma. I had everything planned to go to Burma but my previous experience in Vietnam was in the back of my head...

Second time I plan to go to Burma and I found myself in Vietnam

I just spent fifteen days in Vietnam trying to cover most of the northeast of the country. Two permits were needed for the remote regions of Ha Giang and Cao Bang.

Always on the move from one place to another, not much time in each location but was fun.

I really liked my first experience with the Hill tribes of Sapa and Bac Ha and this time was much better as I was invited to people's homes in remote and hidden villages.

Could not avoid the many rice alcohol shots offered by the locals but I tried to keep myself sober enough to avoid some camera shake.

My kit: D800, 14-24 2.8, 35mm 1.4G, 85mm 1.4G, 70-200 2.8 VRII and a tripod for the waterfalls.

I shot 201Gigabytes of raw files that I have yet to select and process. Here are five from Hanoi.

Thank you for viewing. C&C is always welcome.

The guide was having fun with my coolpix AW100
