Dark to light question.
I did a search first and couldn't find any help so I thought i would ask here. I was out shooting pictures of a covered bridge. I wanted to shoot the floorboards to show the grain and pattern. I could not get the exposure right as I was in the bridge shooting out towards the bright sunlight. I changed the exposure, aperture, iso and still couldn't keep the opening of the bridge from being blown out. Is this something the camera just can't do? Or an I missing something?
Thanks in advance
