Important precautions for Olympus firmware upgrade

I have to agree with you. I did a firmware change on both of my E-M5s and had no problem doing it. I very carefully read before I clicked any buttons, hooked each camera up seperately to my laptop directly with a USB cable, and sat there patiently watching television while the firmware upgrade was in progress. The word OK popped up, disconnected each camera and no more lock ups for me. The whole thing seems very simple to me. You have to do something to fight the urge to mess with your system while it is taking so long to upgrade and your computer looks like it is getting stuck in progress.
