Panasonic 12-35 so bad I am sending it back!

Looks like this lens is going back ---- Unless anyone can tell me this is normal with any £1000 lens?

From what I have read CA is prevalent in most lenses and is adjusted with software, mainly in camera but also in PP, I understand this but this just seems excessive?

Done lots of tests with this lens over the weekend and maybe I am just too fussy but there is far too much CA for a £1000 lens. I don't want to have to adjust images evry time in LR4.

Views and recommendations appreciated

Here are some non scientific test images taken with OMD EM5

Taken at 12mmf5.6

100% crop of left hand side of image

100% crop

100% crop right side of image

100% crop taken at 12mm - CA on window

100% crop taken at 35mm at 35 mm its gone!

Canon with 17-40 no built in CA adjustment

200% crop and little or no CA!
