I can confirm that both the Canon D20 and the Olympus TG-1 have significant video distortion from the rolling shutter. In addition, the D20 has an f/3.9 lens. I'd hope a dedicated video camera would do better than that. When you're looking at underwater video lighting is difficult.

Sadly, I also have a D90 and a cheapie Samsung L201. The Samsung is the only one that doesn't distort, but the lens and white balance are awful.
