Looking at the responses, it seems clear to me that few believe that changing your camera kit would lead to your getting better pictures since what you have is really quite good. A wholesale replacement of your equipment is bound to be financially taxing and will leave you no better off. My guess is that, if you do go to a DSLR, you'll be looking for something else in 6 months. If you persevere with the OM-D, you may actually make progress towards your stated goal of better pictures.
